Reach a decision on the assessment outcome

Decide whether the academic credential is comparable to those in Canada and determine the rights conferred by the assessment outcome.

• Decide whether the academic credential:
• grants full recognition when no substantial differences have been identified;
• grants alternative recognition with respect to a different purpose than the one initially identified in the application process;
• grants partial recognition when some substantial differences have been identified;
• grants conditional recognition when some substantial differences have been identified but full recognition may be possible if specific requirements are met within a specific timeframe;
• is not recognized.
• Establish the rights conferred by the comparability assessment outcome and how the credential may be used by the applicant.
